My little brothers, My little sisters, it is I, your little sister Bernadette. Are you happy?
I prayed so much that God the Father Almighty would grant Me this joy—to be among you together with the Beautiful Lady who is here before us all.
Show love, faith, and devotion to the Beautiful Lady who grants you Her presence even when you are distracted. Distraction is a great weakness; deep in your hearts you know this. It is not always necessary to let yourselves be distracted, but you do so because, for many, praying feels like a burden. This happens when the heart is not completely open to the Beautiful Lady and to Jesus, our Brother. Prayer should be your daily bread; through prayer you find peace and joy, and through prayer you become strong enough to face all the trials of the world that throw you into confusion.
My little brothers, My little sisters, I am here to help you; begin to rid yourselves of many useless things. If you wish to help your neighbor, you must be an example of holiness. The Beautiful Lady has already taught you how to do this; She guides you through the messages She gives you, but you quickly forget Her advice.
She loves you so much, and you love Her too, but your worries and sufferings make you forget this love. You must know that there are many illnesses in the world, but the cause is not always the same. Some illnesses are brought about by sin; they are consequences because sin also ruins the body. Therefore, you yourselves are responsible—that is why your prayers are not being heard.
Other illnesses are permitted by God the Almighty Father so that He may bring your purified souls to Heaven. Learn not to judge what God the Almighty Father does. My little brothers, My little sisters, you will not find happiness in this world even if you seem to have everything; if there is no love—pure love—you are empty.
True wealth is having a heart full of love without favoritism: love the good, love the bad, and forgive, because everyone can make mistakes. Jesus, our Brother, taught this: forgiveness frees your hearts from sadness, anguish, and depression—even if you will never be truly happy in this world, true joy can reign in your hearts.
My little brothers, My little sisters, are these words of mine helping you?
Become saints—true saints—those who bring love and joy into the world with simplicity; and above all, be very humble. Evil knows the importance of humility and inflates souls, making them arrogant, presumptuous, and full of themselves. Humility triumphs in every battle; there is no war in the heart where humility resides.
I must go; the Beautiful Lady is calling Me, but I’ll be back soon. Pray for Lourdes; this place resembles My Lourdes so much, but the miracles that will take place here will be so great that many will feel as if they were in Lourdes. Here, too, the water will perform miracles; soon you’ll have many surprises.
I love you, My little brothers; I love you, My little sisters. The Beautiful Lady blesses us all, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
